California casserole
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt
- oil - 1/4 c
- dry mustard - 1/8 tsp
- chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- can tomato soup - 1 3/4
- onion, chopped - 3/4 c
- green pepper, chopped - 3/4 c
- can creamed corn - 1 lb
- sharp cheese, grated - 1 item
- ground round steak - 1 lb
- can chopped pimento - 1 oz
- can pitted ripe olives, sliced - 1 oz
How to make california casserole:
Saute onion and green pepper in oil and place in a 3-quart casserole. Saute meat and add to casserole with remaining ingredients except cheese. Spread cheese on top and bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Serves 8 generously.Recipe categories: Side dish, Cheese, Casseroles.
