Cajun shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine
- cloves garlic, minced - 6 item
- fresh or 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- dried rosemary - 1/2 tsp
- dried oregano - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cayenne pepper - 2 tsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- mustard - 2 tsp
- red pepper flakes - 1 tsp
- seafood stock - 1 c
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- Old Bay seasoning to taste - 1 item
- shrimp in shells
How to make cajun shrimp:
In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter, making sure butter does not brown. As soon as butter starts to melt, add garlic and herbs. Stir until melted. Add remaining ingredients except shrimp and mix well with a whisk. Simmer over low heat to allow flavors to blend, about 15 minutes.
