Ingredients/Components
- garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
- can water - 1 oz
- celery stalks, chopped - 2 item
- medium head cabbage, chopped - 1/2 item
- pepper or to taste - 1/4 tsp
- garlic powder or to taste - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef, lean - 1 lb
- can kidney beans plus liquid - 1 oz
- can stewed tomatoes, chopped well - 1 oz
- beef bouillon cubes, dissolved in a little water - 4 item
How to make cabbage soup:
In a Dutch oven, brown beef. Add all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 hour. Garnish with parsley. Makes 3 quarts. Simple and delicious.Recipe categories: American, Vegetables, Soups & stews.
