  • salt - 3 tsp
  • vinegar - 3/4 c
  • salad oil - 3/4 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • diced onion - 1/2 c
  • celery seed - 1 tsp
  • green pepper, diced - 1/2 item
  • small jar pimentos, diced - 1 item
  • medium heads cabbage, shredded - 2 item

How to make cabbage slaw:

Heat to boiling and pour over cabbage. Refrigerate 12 hours. Improves with age. Slaw will keep at least one week.
