- milk
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- hot bulk sausage - 1/2 lb
How to make sawmill gravy:
Cook sausage until brown in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain and reserve 2 tablespoons of the drippings in skillet. Blend in flour; brown, stirring constantly. Add milk. Bring to a boil. Reduce flame. Add sausage, salt and pepper; cook, stirring constantly, about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve over hot biscuits.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
