Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • water - 3/4 c
  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • ground beef
  • can tomato soup - 1 1/2
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • cooked rice - 1 c
  • large cabbage leaves - 8 item

How to make cabbage rolls:

Pour boiling water over cabbage leaves. Let stand 5 minutes; drain. Brown meat and season with salt and pepper. Add onions, rice and eggs. Roll a portion of filling into each leaf and fasten ends with a toothpick. Place the cabbage rolls in a baking dish. Pour soup and water over rolls. Cover and cook 45 minutes in 350° oven.
