Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
  • can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • hamburger
  • minced garlic - 2 tsp
  • uncooked rice - 1/4 c
  • head cabbage - 1 item
  • whole egg - 1 item

How to make cabbage rolls:

Mix meat, onion, egg, garlic, rice, salt and pepper in bowl. Separate cabbage leaves and lay in pan of boiling watar to soften. Lift out leaves. Fill with a ball of meat mixture. Roll cabbage around meat and fasten with toothpicks. Place in pot. Add remaining ingredients. Cover well with water. Bring to a boil, then turn down heat and simmer about 2 hours.
