Cabbage rolls
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- hamburger
- minced garlic - 2 tsp
- uncooked rice - 1/4 c
- head cabbage - 1 item
- whole egg - 1 item
How to make cabbage rolls:
Mix meat, onion, egg, garlic, rice, salt and pepper in bowl. Separate cabbage leaves and lay in pan of boiling watar to soften. Lift out leaves. Fill with a ball of meat mixture. Roll cabbage around meat and fasten with toothpicks. Place in pot. Add remaining ingredients. Cover well with water. Bring to a boil, then turn down heat and simmer about 2 hours.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork.
