  • bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • 28 oz - 1 c
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • chili powder - 1 Tbsp
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • dried crushed red pepper optional - 1 tsp
  • shredded cabbage - 10 c

How to make cabbage goulash:

In large kettle brown sausage, beef and onion; drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage; mix well. Stir in cabbage and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Serve 10 to 12.
