Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- shredded cabbage - 4 c
- stick margarine, melted - 1 item
- grated cheese medium - 2 c
- 1/2 crushed corn flake crumbs or cornbread stuffing - 1 item
How to make cabbage casserole:
Spread half of stuffing mix with margarine in bottom of dish. Spread cabbage and onion over crumbs. Mix milk, soup, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Pour over cabbage-onion layer. Spread cheese over soup. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
