Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 item
- crushed cornflakes
- grated cheese - 2 c
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- can cream of celery soup - 1 item
- thinly sliced cabbage - 4 c
How to make cabbage casserole:
Mix cornflake crumbs with melted margarine. Spread half of the crumb mixture over bottom of casserole dish. Mix together cabbage and onion; spread over crumbs. Combine mayonnaise, milk, soup, salt and pepper. Pour over cabbage. Sprinkle dish with remaining crumbs. Cover crumbs with grated cheese.
