- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- half and half - 1/4 c
- packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- medium yams, cooked, peeled, quartered and well drained - 6 item
How to make butterscotch yams:
Bake potatoes for 15 minutes in oven at 325°. Boil remaining ingredients for 5 minutes in saucepan, stirring continuously. Pour over yams, bake 15 minutes longer, basting frequently.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Yam/sweet potato.
