Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1/4 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar
- stick butter - 1 item
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- white sugar
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make buttermilk pie:
Cream brown sugar, white sugar and 1 stick butter. Add flour, eggs (one at a time), 1/2 cup butter (melted), vanilla and salt. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Do not overbake. (This tends to make pie watery.) Makes 2 pies.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
