- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- pecans - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- Frosting:1 stick butter
How to make buttermilk cake:
Frosting:1 stick butter6 Tbsp. buttermilk4 Tbsp. cocoa1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. pecans Mix together flour, sugar and soda. Put butter, cocoa and water in pan; bring to rolling boil. Add to flour mixture and mix well, then add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. Mix well and pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Frosting: Melt butter, buttermilk and cocoa together; add powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts. Pour over cake while warm.
