  • salt - 1 Tbsp
  • pepper - 1 item
  • celery - 1 c
  • green pepper - 1/4 c
  • large potatoes, cut up - 4 item
  • onions - 2 item
  • 2 can tomatoes
  • Minute tapioca - 3 Tbsp
  • stewing beef, cubed - 2 lb
  • vegetables, cut up - 1 item
  • bunch carrots, cut up - 1 item
  • Cook at 250° for 5 hours, 1/2 recipe 4 hours

How to make busy day beef stew:

Put in large covered casserole. Cook at 250° for 5 hours, 1/2 recipe 4 hours.Notes: No need to brown meat.

Can be stirred during cooking.

Add potatoes late.

Uncover last hour if it seems syrupy.

Makes a big recipe. I make half.
