Busy day beef stew
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1 item
- celery - 1 c
- green pepper - 1/4 c
- large potatoes, cut up - 4 item
- onions - 2 item
- 2 can tomatoes
- Minute tapioca - 3 Tbsp
- stewing beef, cubed - 2 lb
- vegetables, cut up - 1 item
- bunch carrots, cut up - 1 item
- Cook at 250° for 5 hours, 1/2 recipe 4 hours
How to make busy day beef stew:
Put in large covered casserole. Cook at 250° for 5 hours, 1/2 recipe 4 hours.Notes: No need to brown meat.Can be stirred during cooking.
Add potatoes late.
Uncover last hour if it seems syrupy.
Makes a big recipe. I make half.
