Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • cooked raisins in enough juice to make 3/4 c
  • raisin juice, cooled - 3/4 c

How to make brown eyed susans:

Mix all ingredients. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Dough will be thinner than most drop cookie dough. Best when chilled. Bake at 375° for 12 minutes.
