Ingredients/Components
- flour - 4 c
- water
- margarine - 8 Tbsp
- onions, chopped - 1 lb
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- chicken base - 1 c
- broccoli, chopped - 3 lb
- Add water and remaining ingredients
How to make broccoli soup:
Saute onions in margarine. Add water and remaining ingredients. After this has cooked and is good and hot, add roux to thicken. If needed, thin with half and half as you use daily.Roux:2 c. oil4 c. flour Mix flour and oil well. Should be smooth. Add to thicken.
