Broccoli soup
Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- water - 1 c
- margarine - 1/4 c
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- American cheese, cubed - 8 oz
- instant chicken bouillon - 1 Tbsp
- frozen chopped broccoli - 1 (10
How to make broccoli soup:
Saute onion in margarine in saucepan for 5 minutes. Stir in flour. Add water, bouillon, garlic powder and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Add broccoli and milk. Simmer for 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Stir in half and half and cheese. Simmer until cheese is melted, stirring constantly. Serve hot. Yield: 8 servings.
