Broccoli and cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 c
- Crisco oil - 2 Tbsp
- skim milk - 3 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- Old Bay seasoning - 1 1
- large chopped onion - 1 item
- garlic - 1/4 1/2
- frozen, chopped broccoli - 1 pkg
- egg noodles - 1 item
- Velveeta cheese light - 1/2 lb
- chicken bouillon cubes or 3 cans chicken broth - 3 item
How to make broccoli and cheese soup:
In a saucepan, lightly saute onion in 2 tablespoons oil. Add broth; bring to a boil. Put in 2 handfuls of egg noodles. Cook 3 minutes, uncovered. Defrost broccoli about 3/4 of the way, then add to soup mixture. Add garlic, Old Bay seasoning, salt and pRecipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Soups & stews.
