Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 8 item
- milk - 1 qt
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- bacon - 1/2 3/4
- slices cubed bread - 12 item
- Webber sausage ground - 1 lb
- Worcestershire sauce and pepper to taste - 1 item
How to make breakfast casserole:
Fry and drain sausage and bacon; mix together. Butter long casserole dish and line bottom with half of the bread. Sprinkle with half of the cheese; add all the sausage and bacon. Layer bread and cheese again. Beat eggs; add milk, Worcestershire, pepper, salt and mustard. Pour over meat mixture and cover. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325°, uncovered, 45 minutes to 1 hour.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
