- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- evaporated milk
- boiling water - 1 c
- grated lemon peel - 1 tsp
- bread cubes 3 slices - 2 c
How to make bread pudding:
Place bread in buttered baking dish. Beat the eggs and add sugar, salt, milk and water. Stir in vanilla and lemon peel. Pour over bread. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, American.
