Cinnamon brownies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 to
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- evaporated milk - 1/3 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- cocoa - 3/4 c
- confectioners sugar
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- margarine - 2/3 c
- baking cocoa - 1/2 c
- semi-sweet chips - 1 c
- Melt margarine and blend in 1/3 cup with boiling water
How to make cinnamon brownies:
Combine cocoa and soda. Melt margarine and blend in 1/3 cup with boiling water. Add to cocoa mixture, stirring until thickened. Combine sugar, eggs and vanilla; stir in with 1/3 cup margarine and add to chocolate mixture. Add flour, cinnamon and salt to chocolate mixture. Fold in 1 cup semi-sweet chips. Bake in 13 x 9-inch greased pan for 40 minutes at 350°. After cooling, frost.Frosting:6 Tbsp. margarine1 to 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon1 Tbsp. vanilla1/2 c. baking cocoa2 2/3 c. confectioners sugar1/3 c. evaporated milk Cream margarine; combine cocoa, cinnamon and sugar; add alternately with milk to margarine.
