Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- oil - 1/2 c
- buttermilk
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda
- all-purpose flour
- raisins - 3/4 c
- shreds of whole bran cereal - 2 c
How to make bran muffins:
Mix cereal and buttermilk. Let stand 5 minutes. Add oil and eggs. Blend well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Mix well. Batter can be baked immediately or stored in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Grease muffin cups or line with paper baking cups. FiRecipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
