Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Icing:1 stick oleo
How to make boiled cake:
Icing:1 stick oleo6 Tbsp. milk3 Tbsp. cocoa1 c. chopped pecans1 box confectioners sugar Mix flour and sugar together; set aside. Mix oleo, Crisco, water and cocoa in pan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add sugar and flour mixture. Add other ingredients. Pour into greased sheet cake pan. Bake at 375° for 30 to 45 minutes.Icing: Bring to a boil the oleo, milk and cocoa. Remove from heat. Add nuts and sugar. Spread on cake while still warm.
