- sugar - 1/4 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/4 c
- blueberries - 1 pt
How to make blueberry upside-down cake:
Pour washed blueberries into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole and sprinkle with the 1/4 cup sugar. In mixing bowl, cream shortening, the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 egg together. Sift the flour, baking powder and salt. Add this to creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Test.
