  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • oil - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • berries, slightly mashed - 2 c

How to make blackberry cake:

Topping:1 c. sugar1/2 c. milk3 Tbsp. flour2 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla Sift dry ingredients. Put soda in buttermilk. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Fold in berries. Bake at 350° until done, about 25 to 30 minutes. Bake in 3 pans. When cake is still warm, put on topping.

Topping: Mix all ingredients and cook slowly, stirring constantly.
