  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • self-rising flour - 2 c
  • Crisco - 1 c
  • whole eggs - 4 item
  • sweet milk - 1 c
  • butternut flavoring - 1 Tbsp
  • Frosting:1 stick margarine

How to make butternut cake:

Frosting:1 stick margarine1 Tbsp. butternut flavoring1 c. powdered sugar1 c. chopped nuts1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese Cake: Cream Crisco and sugar; beat in eggs. Add flour alternately with milk. Add flavoring. Pour batter into three 9-inch pans. Bake at 350°.

Frosting: Cream butter and cheese. Add sugar, flavoring and nuts.
