Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- sugar - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- almond extract - 1/4 tsp
- nondairy whipped topping, thawed - 1 c
- can cherry pie filling, chilled - 1 oz
How to make black forest pie:
Preheat oven to 350°. Beat cream cheese until fluffy; add sugar and cocoa. Mix well. Add egg and almond extract. With a spatula, scrape filling into crust; spread evenly. Bake 35 minutes. Cool and refrigerate. Just before serving, top with nondairy whipped topping and cherry pie filling. Prep time: 10 minutes. Baking time: 35 minutes. Chilling time: 3 hours.
