  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 3/4 c
  • cocoa - 3 Tbsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • flour + 1 Tbsp - 1/2 c

How to make best ever brownies:

Cream butter and sugar, mixed with cocoa. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Sift flour with salt and add 1/2 cup nuts to flour. Mix together. Pour into greased 9-inch square pan. Scatter 1/4 cup nuts on top. Bake about 30 minutes at 350°.
