Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- pkg - 12 oz
- water - 1/2 c
How to make beer nuts:
Dissolve sugar in water. Add peanuts and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 5 minutes. Spread on well-greased cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes at 300°. Salt and turn. Bake another 10 minutes. Salt and turn. Bake another 5 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool. Break peanuts apart.Note: Adjust recipe according to ounces of nuts used. For 16 ounce package, use 1 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 plus 1/8 cup water, etc.
