Beer beef stew
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 item
- cooking oil - 3 Tbsp
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- beef stew meat, cubed - 1 lb
- bottle beer - 1 oz
- or 4 potatoes, diced - 3 item
- to 3 carrots, sliced - 2 item
How to make beer beef stew:
Roll beef in flour. Brown in oil in Dutch oven. Add onion, garlic and salt. Saute. Add beer, mushrooms, carrots and bay leaf. Cover and simmer slowly 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Add potatoes and peas last 1/2 hour.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
