Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- all-purpose flour - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- can sliced mushrooms - 1 item
- large onions - 2 item
- basil optional - 1 tsp
- cooked noodles - 1 item
- beef, cut into bite size pieces - 2 lb
- sour cream or container plain yogurt - 1 c
- can beef broth or equal bouillon - 1 item
How to make beef stroganoff:
Dredge meat in flour. In a skillet with 1/4 cup margarine or butter, saute onions until tender. Remove from pan; set aside. Add remaining butter and brown meat on all sides. May need to add a little more butter. This is cooked on medium heat. Add broRecipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
