Beef stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 pt
- salt - 2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- sliced mushrooms - 8 oz
- small onions, chopped - 3 item
- round steak - 2 lb
How to make beef stroganoff:
Saute chopped onions in shortening. Cut meat in strips, then cube. Remove onions. Roll meat in flour and fry until brown. Add onion, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Add mushrooms, soup and sour cream. Simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender. Serve on rice or noodles.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
