Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • Ritz crackers - 2 c
  • soup can water - 1/2 item
  • shredded Cheddar cheese optional - 1 item
  • or 6 chicken breasts - 5 item

How to make sour cream chicken casserole:

Cook and bone chicken. Cut up chicken and mix with soup, sour cream and water. Pour into casserole dish (12 x 8 x 2-inch). Melt margarine. Crush crackers and toss with margarine. Cover casserole with Cheddar cheese, then with crackers. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
