Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/4 c
- oil - 2 tsp
- dash of garlic powder - 1 item
- salt to taste - 1 item
- stalks celery, diced - 2 item
- beef stew seasoning - 1 pkg
- carrots, slice 1/2 - 3 item
- potatoes, cut in 6 pieces - 2 item
- potatoes, 1/2 chunks - 2 item
How to make beef stew:
Brown beef in iron skillet with oil and salt. Put in pressure cooker; set aside. Reheat skillet. Turn off heat. Add water and pour over beef. Add carrots, potatoes (cut in 6 pieces) and garlic powder. Pressure cook for 20 minutes. Now add the other potatoes, celery and beef seasoning. Cook 30 minutes without lid. Salt to taste and thicken with a flour and water mixture that has been strained.Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Stew.
