Beef cabbage soup
Ingredients/Components
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- celery, chopped - 1/2 c
- cans stewed tomatoes - 2 oz
- cans kidney beans - 2 oz
- to 1/2 head cabbage, chopped - 1/4 item
How to make beef cabbage soup:
Brown ground beef in 1 tablespoon oil. Add cabbage, celery and onion in skillet. Transfer to 5-quart stock pot. Add remaining ingredients, plus 1 cup water, if needed. Stir and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Meat, Beef.
