Beef burgundy
Ingredients/Components
- salt
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onions - 1/2 c
- mushrooms, sliced - 1/2 lb
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- Burgundy wine - 1 c
- thyme - 1/2 tsp
- or 2 bouillon cubes - 1 item
- cubed chuck - 2 lb
How to make beef burgundy:
Cut meat in cubes. Brown meat and onions in oil. Stir in flour and seasonings. Add water and stir until slightly thickened. Add bouillon cubes and wine. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours. Stir occasionally. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
