Beef and rice stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- Dijon mustard
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- dash of Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
- Minute rice - 3/4 c
- lean ground beef - 3/4 lb
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- can mushrooms - 1 oz
- beef broth - 1 c
How to make beef and rice stroganoff:
Brown beef until crumbly; drain. Add tomatoes, broth, mushrooms, onion, pepper, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and rice. Stir well. Simmer until rice is tender, about 20 minutes. Serve in bowls. Top each serving with sour cream.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, One Dish meal.
