Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- boiling water - 3 c
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- plus 1 tsp - 1 Tbsp
- stalks celery, chopped - 4 item
- uncooked rice
- medium onions, chopped - 2 item
- beef bouillon cubes - 2 item
- green peppers, chopped - 2 item
- diced, cooked beef - 3 c
How to make beef and rice:
In large skillet, cook and stir rice in oil over medium heat until golden brown. Add salt, water, bouillon cubes and soy sauce. Cover tightly; simmer 20 minutes. Stir in onions, celery, green peppers and meat. Cover tightly. Simmer 10 minutes longer or until all liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
