Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- cornstarch - 3/4 c
- water - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
How to make batter for fried vegetables:
Combine cornstarch, flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Stir in water and egg, slightly beaten. As you dip the vegetables, stir batter occasionally. Heat oil to 375°.Note: If batter is too thick, add a little water.
