Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1/2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- water - 3/4 c
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 1/4 c
- shredded coconut - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- orange juice - 1 c
- cream cheese, softened
How to make fruit pizza:
Filling:8 oz. cream cheese, softened1/3 c. sugar Glaze:1 c. sugar1/4 tsp. salt2 Tbsp. cornstarch1 c. orange juice1/4 c. lemon juice3/4 c. water Pizza Toppings: Bananas, pears, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, apples, etc. (whatever fruit you like).Crust: Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and coconut; mix. Grease pizza pan and line with crust mixture. Bake at 350° for 20 to 22 minutes. Cool.
Filling: Mix until smooth the cream cheese and sugar. Spread on cooled pizza crust. Decorate pizza with fresh fruit of your choice (canned peaches and pears okay if drained).
Glaze: Combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, cook until thickened. Cool and pour over fruit, making sure all fruit is covered well. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
