Barbecued spareribs
Ingredients/Components
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- barbecue sauce - 2 c
- lemon juice optional - 2 Tbsp
- pork or lamb spareribs, cut into serving pieces - 3 lb
How to make barbecued spareribs:
Place spareribs in large, shallow microwave baking dish. Heat, uncovered, on Simmer for 14 minutes. Turn spareribs over and heat on Simmer for 14 minutes. Drain off excess fat. Combine chili powder and barbecue sauce. Pour half of the sauce over ribs. Heat, uncovered, on Simmer for 8 minutes. Turn spareribs again. Sprinkle with lemon juice, if desired. Pour on remaining sauce and heat, uncovered, on Simmer for 16 minutes or until fork-tender. Pork should always be cooked until well done.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Meat, Pork.
