Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sifted flour
- soft butter - 1/2 c
- mashed bananas - 1 c
How to make banana tea bread:
Set oven at 350°. Grease loaf pan, chop nuts and mash bananas. Sift flour, soda and salt together. Combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in mixing bowl. Cream for 1 1/2 minutes. Scrape bowl, add banana, sour cream, nuts and flour mixture. Beat until well blended. Bake 1 hour or until done.Recipe categories: Breads, Lunch/snacks, Quick breads.
