Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 2 c
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- large container Cool Whip - 1 item
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- to 4 bananas - 3 item
- chopped cherries, well drained - 1 c
- stick soft oleo - 1 item
- sticks soft oleo - 2 item
How to make banana split cake:
Mix together first 3 ingredients. Pat into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, then cook for 5 minutes in oven until crust is set. Cool. Cream together 2 sticks oleo and 2 cups powdered sugar. Add eggs to oleo and sugar mixture and beat until very light, no less than 15 minutes. Spread over graham cracker crust. Drain well pineapple and spread over mixture. Slice 3 to 4 bananas on top of pineapple. Top with large container of Cool Whip. Sprinkle nuts and cherries on top. Refrigerate.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Pineapple.
