Banana split cake
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs - 3 c
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped nuts - 1 item
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- maraschino cherries - 1 item
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 item
- stick melted margarine - 1 item
- sliced bananas - 1 item
- large bowl Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make banana split cake:
Mix and press in 13 x 9-inch pan and chill graham cracker crumbs and melted margarine. Blend confectioners sugar, eggs and margarine. Beat 15 minutes and chill. Spread on top of crust. Add pineapple (drained) and 4 or 5 sliced bananas. Spread Cool Whip over this. Add 2 or 3 more bananas. Top with chopped nuts and maraschino cherries. Store in refrigerator.When all of the boys in our family (sons and nephews) were small, we used to make this cake instead of birthday cake.
