Banana oatmeal muffins
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- uncooked oats - 1/2 c
- bananas 2 or 3 mashed - 1 c
How to make banana oatmeal muffins:
In a medium bowl, combine oats and milk. Set aside until milk is absorbed. In a medium bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add margarine, egg and bananas to the oat mixture. Mix well then add dry ingredients and stir until moistened. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full. You can grease and flour your muffin tins or use cupcake liners.Bake for 15 minutes at 425°.
