Banana oatmeal bread
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- vegetable oil - 7 Tbsp
- large egg - 1 item
- regular oats - 1 c
- large egg whites - 2 item
- mashed banana
- cooking spray - 1 item
How to make banana oatmeal bread:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Beat well at medium speed of mixer. Combine banana, oats and milk; add to sugar mixture; beat well. Lightly spoon flour into dry cup level with knife. Combine flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir with a whisk. Add to sugar mixture. Beat just until moist. Spoon batter into 9 x 5-inch loaf pan that has been sprayed. Bake for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Grains.
