French breakfast muffins

- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder
- egg - 1 item
- margarine - 1/3 c
- margarine, melted - 1/2 c
How to make french breakfast muffins:
Grease 15 medium muffin cups. Mix margarine, 1/2 cup sugar and egg. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg alternately with milk. Fill cups 2/3 full. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon. Immediately after baking, roll puffs in melted butter, then in cinnamon and sugar mixture.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Muffins.
