Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 4 Tbsp
- mashed bananas - 3 item
- margarine - 1/2 c
- nuts, chopped - 1/2 c
- flour plain - 2 c
How to make banana nut cake:
Sift together the soda, salt, flour and sugar. Add eggs and buttermilk, then add bananas. Stir in nuts. Mix thoroughly. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 325° about 40 minutes. Makes 2 (1 pound) loaves.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
