Banana bars
Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1/2 c
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- powdered sugar - 2 c
- ripe bananas, mashed - 3 item
How to make banana bars:
Frosting:1/4 c. butter2 c. powdered sugar3 Tbsp. sour cream Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together 1/2 cup butter and sugar. Add 1 cup sour cream and eggs. Add vanilla and bananas. Mix all dry ingredients, then add to banana mixture and mix well. Spread batter in greased and floured jelly roll pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool.For frosting, melt 1/4 cup butter and stir in sugar and 3 tablespoons sour cream and beat until creamy. When frosting and bars are cool, frost. Let set up and cut into bars. Refrigerate.
