Ingredients/Components
- medium to large mushrooms - 12 item
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- slices bread - 2 item
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- basil - 1/4 tsp
- bay leaf optional - 1 item
- chopped onion optional - 1/2 c
- bacon bits optional - 1 item
How to make baked stuffed mushrooms:
Clean and remove stems from mushrooms. In blender, blend 1 slice bread (in pieces) and spices. Add remaining bread in pieces and stems a little at a time. Melt butter in pan. Add mixture and saute for 5 minutes. Stuff caps. Set caps in shallow well-greased pan. Bake at 375° for 12 to 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Vegetables, Mushroom.
